Reliable Ip Phone Knowledge Base
Hosted ip phone solution? We currently host our own ip phone system (Cisco AVVID) and are exploring whether it would be more cost effective to have it hosted externally. We will need an ip phone solution for our office, with extension calling, caller id, conf calling, etc... We will need international calling as well. In addition, we have remote offices internationally which we would like networked within this hosted solution. Does anyone have recommendations for reliable providers of this type of service?
Are there any reliable and reasonable PRI-T1 providers that will service the NYC area? We currently have a PRI-T1 where all our domestic long distance and internataional calls are routed via IP. We pay a discounted rate for different countries, and a flat rate within the US. We are looking to replace this provider due to problems with our caller ids not appearing properly or at all, and the voice quality issues where calls are dropped or choppy. Are there any reliable and reasonable providers that will service the NYC area. We currently have the Cisco Avvid IP Phone System.
Voip phone service provider? Because of the expensive monthly phone bill, I am thinking about a cost effective IP phone service. What i am looking for includes equally good voice quality as regular landline phone, constanly reliable service ( no drop calls, no inability to dial out), good customer service. Anyone knows which service provider can offer the above?
BSNL broadband for VOIP.? Hi , I am using BSNL broadband Unlimited download plan some 1000 Rs per month. Recently, some 3 months back i have started using the VOIP device (from Reliable IP phone) for long distance calls through broad band. The problem is with the speed of broadband connectivity in the UNLIMITED plan which often fails calls and once in a blue moon the call gets connected. Few suggest to go to Limited plans which would increase the bandwidth. If any of you have faced/ facing similar problem, please can u suggest the best plan i should take to have this VOIP service up and runnning all the time.. Is this true in case of BSNL broad band that there willl more bandwidth given to LImited plans rather than unlimited plans. thanks.

Advice needed from experts.? I was scammed out of about $20,000 by a guy using a fake business name in another state. I was in contact with him by e-mail and phone, I wired the money to a business account at Bank of America. Would it be best to go after his bank account since he must have used his name and SS# to open the account and therefor we will be able to identify him? or, Is there a way to track his phone number? (probably a prepaid cell phone which cannot be tracked to anyone) or, Is there a way to reliably track his e-mail back to him? ( I have been told that this can be done, but it would be hard to tell if this individual was the one using it or if someone just bounced their email off of someone else's ip, therefor not very reliable.) Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

How much should you realistically pay a private detective to locate a person with the following information? I'm having trouble locating someone I had done business with to deliver an important document and message. The message needs to be delivered to this person in real life, not via the Internet or email, and not via postal mail. It needs to be signed in order to make sure it is received. The challenge is that this individual was somewhat a private person, and I do not know too many people who associated with this individual in real life. This individual does not have an online presence, and when I say online presence, they do not typically use any online social sites, and for the one they did use, they have not logged on in months. I honestly do not know if this individual is dead or alive, but I was notified that this person has passed away. I have the following information on the individual: - 1 old mobile number and one current number (voicemail is filled up, and they never pick up when I call) - IP Address (from logging into my website) - 3 old email addresses (does not respond to email) - 2 old snail mail addresses (does not live at these addresses) - 1 website domain (keeps information on "whois" search private) I know other information, like the last place this person was seen, the last time I spoke to this person on the phone, and the last hotel they stayed at with the dates. I found some other information from online public records services, but these addresses are outdated and I've been told. I am researching private investigators, but they all seem expensive. How can I find someone who is reliable in order to help me solve this mystery about the whereabouts of this missing person?Private investigators looking to charge me hundreds of dollars for this location service. Can you really find the location of someone? I am wondering if there is anyone who can assist with this location for a low cost, without spending a lot to find a person.
