What is the difference between an IP-Pbx telephone system and a normal PBX? So i am looking for a telphone system for my small sized company. We need something that provides us one phone number but in case the line is busy another staff member can get the diverted call even though he/she is sitting in a completely seperate country. What are the differences between IP-PBX and normal PBX systems. We have roughly 14 employees so would need around that many phone lines of similar numbers. Thank you. Services that you can hook into your existing telephone system in your house and use regular phones( You hook the router phone port to outside demark box and can use your existing phones to make calls via high speed VOIP. Remote power switch via TELEPHONE? I would like to control my switch's and router's power supply remotely means whenever I wish, I will be able to switch OFF and ON the power of the devices. Yes I know there are many products in the market which I could use but those are controlled over IP. Now the carrier system is obsolete and 100base-fx fibre converters are to replace the at either end where two Cisco 2950-24 switches are connected thus placing all devices under one LAN and providing a greater LAN bandwidth than the previous 2Mb/s WAN Link.However the telephone exchanges at either end still need to be taken care of in the new set-up. What I need are the configuration commands for the two routers. After a system reset, my Vista 64 machine has lost internet connection? It's on a wireless network and only says I have 'local access'. I telephoned Belkin (belkin wireless adapter) who said something about the IP number needing erasing and a new one. I followed someinstructions on line for tcp/ip reconfig but it still doesn't make any difference. I need to get this sorted for work. I am doing this on my wife's computer (which has the modem (Belkin N1 router modem) attached with no problems. Can someone please PLEASE point me to a solution for this. So if the Doctor wants to write something on the Stick he just have to choose the maxiDoc PDF Printer and can write everything directly from their Medical System on the Stick.
