Can I connect my mobile phone to internet using Computer IP?

Hi! I have a samsung d900i mobile phone and a PC with internet connection. The question is that if I put the computer IP on phone, it would connect to internet. Or it is any software that can make my phone to connect to internet via PC ( with cable, or bluetooth)?

1. it doesn't matter which carrier you have or what software you get you will still be charged for data minutes if you manage to get the phone online. i have tried with just about all of them, and yes it is possible but without an unlimited data plan it can get quite pricey. if you are just wanting ring tones there are many free sites.
