  1. A PBX or IP-PBX would be overkill. All you really need is a VoIP ATA box that has both FXS (outgoing VoIP line) and FXO (incoming PSTN line). The Linksys SPA-3102-NA (unlocked) is a SIP-based ATA that has the features you want: http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1146582257191&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper The bonus here is that the Linksys SPA-3102-NA is not locked to any specific VoIP provider. What this means is that you can subscribe to Any SIP-based VoIP service that encourages BYOD (bring your own device) and Pay-As-You-Go (no contracts). I use my user configurable (unlocked) Linksys PAP2T-NA with BYOD VoIP services like CallCentric and InPhonex. They are only pay-as-you-go and.... no contracts.
